How social are horses really?
Amandas-Horseshoes
Now you can find out… here’s a place you can literally drive to and watch horses in a very “natural” environment.
Spend some time and you’ll even pick up the languages of horses.
“Because horses can’t speak, any time you evaluate a horse for a problem, you’re always looking at the behavior,” Nolen-Walston said. “Having that resource here is just a remarkable resource to allow us to evaluate our patients more accurately and thoroughly.”
Have a look at the complete article on social behavior of horses.
You’ll join some vet students learning the skills at New Bolton Center, part of Penn’s School of Veterinary Medicine.

We can talk about loving our horses but there’s nothing like pictures to prove it.
Here’s a few from our facebook page…. form 6/17/11 have a look and let me know which one catches your eye.

Ok OK by now I’m sure you know I love horses… I also love the people that post on our horsemoms facebook page.
It makes my heart smile when I see all these people loving their horses… and animals and even people
Truly if you can’t love an animal how can you hope to ever love another human being.
So please enjoy the love in these pictures and the gentle, kind, beautiful people behind the cameras and in the photos that make life so wonderful
It all starts with that connection, that bond, that special feeling.
Watch for more pictures I’ll post soon
